Diesel and gas-fuelled engines and generating set manufacturer Lister Petter is reporting strong early demand for its ‘ListerPack’ compact diesel genset it launched at the Middle East Electricity show in February.

The company confirms brisk trade in its initial Far East, Pacific and Middle East markets. The manufacturer is now introducing this small 4.5kVA unit in Africa, another region where it anticipates high demand.

Lister Petter offers the genset in two configurations designated LPP2.8 and LLP4.5, both equating to the prime kVA rating at 50Hz. Aimed at residential and light commercial users, its designers have focused on ensuring ease of operation. A simple digital control panel that enables owners to monitor all parameters, a push-button start and lengthy periods between oil changes, are among its features.

‘ListerPack significantly expands our range at lower power outputs,’ says Rajesh Sadhu, Lister Petter Vice President, Engine Business Development. ‘It is fully emissions compliant and we are confident it will sell strongly in North and South America as well.’
