Maintenance and repair firm Rolls Wood Group (RWG) has won a three-year contract to maintain a fleet of Siemens industrial RB211 gas-fired gensets used for on-site power in oil and gas operations in the Middle East.
The contract with Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA OPCO) specifies scheduled overhaul of the gensets, field service support and on-the-spot maintenance, and offers the option for a one-year extension.
RWG said it had completed over 800 industrial RB211 engine overhauls in the past 26 years. The firm is a joint venture between Siemens AG and Wood Group, formed in 1990.
The company added that the contract ‘demonstrates the importance of continued investment in the region, enabling RWG to respond quickly to changing customer requirements, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical equipment’.
