MHPS will supply the equipment through the EPC contractor, South Korea’s Daelim Industrial. The plant will use sub-bituminous coal imported from Indonesia and the electricity it produces will be supplied to utility Manila Electric Company.

The plant is being built by San Buenaventura Power, a special purpose company established by the Electricity Generating Public Company of Thailand and Meralco PowerGen Corporation.
