Germany’s MAN Diesel & Turbo has signed a service agreement with Indonesian independent energy production company Berkat Bima Sentana.
The five-year deal is for the maintenance of four 18V48/60TS gas engines in a new power plant in Belawan in northern Sumatra.
MAN Diesel will supply spare parts for scheduled maintenance intervals and also PrimeServ Online Service, an automatic and continuous monitoring application for all four engines.
MAN Diesel supplied the plant with the four engines and commissioned the plant at the end of last year. The plant has a total capacity of almost 160 MW, of which approximately 80 MW is supplied by the four engines. The remaining power is generated by eight overhauled MAN 9L58/64 engines.
