A2SEA is to provide installation services at the RWE-run Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm, off the coast of north Wales.
The Danish firm will provide its jack-up vessels, Sea Jack and Sea Worker, which will install 160 Siemens 3.6MW turbines, reports powertechnology.com.
Jens Frederik Hansen, A2SEA CEO, said: “The vessel solution secures optimum discharge and logistics from the load-out port.
Through good cooperation with RWE we anticipate an efficient, safe and smooth project execution.”
The first completed turbine is expected to begin generating electricity in 2013.
