Cummins Power Generation has demonstrated its new C2750 D5B generator set to leading European engineering consultants and customers.
Cummins said that witness tests at its factory in Kent in the UK “have confirmed the product’s ability to hit key user-defined benchmarks, fulfil ISO 8528-5 G3 requirements for load acceptance, and even meet the standard for 100 per cent load rejection”.
The company claims that the C2750 D5B 50 Hz genset is “pushing the boundaries for large manufacturing facilities, retail outlets and mission critical applications like medical facilities and data centres in global markets”.
“It delivers 2750 kVA of power with less fuel, smaller footprint and greater power density thanks to its fuel-efficient 60-litre QSK60 engine. In order to reach this power node other generator set manufacturers use engines that have a higher displacement, making the C2750 D5B a cost-effective and efficient power generation solution in its class.”
