CKD subsidiary facing bankruptcy

Nov. 3, 2000 (Prague Business Journal)à‚–CKD Holding subsidiary CKD Dukla confirmed yesterday that an unnamed creditor filed a bankruptcy petition against it this week.

The heating equipment producer, which owes Kc 200 mln (mostly to Konsolidacnàƒ­ Banka), is now suing service company Prazske Sluzby for an Kc 80 mln re-eivable and selling a Slovak production facility for SKK 150 mln.

It hopes to be granted a multi-billion crown order for the Elbistan power plant in Turkey (Hospodarske Noviny B1).
