GE Energy has signed a technology licensing agreement with Nanjing Turbine & Electric Machinery Group (NTC) for steam turbine designs for industrial applications in China and Southeast Asia.

Under the terms of the agreement, which covers both boiler feed pump and mechanical drive steam turbines for industrial applications, equipment will be manufactured and sold by NTC throughout the region.

‘NTC has been a key player in bringing GE technologies to China,’ said Trevor Bailey, general manager of GE Energy’s steam turbine business.

NTC’s main products include steam turbines for co-generation, air-cooled generators, gas turbines and large and mid-size AC motors.
