The Ho Chi Minh City Power Company (HCMC PC) is inviting international developers to bid for two power engineering projects worth $199m, following the approval of a loan from the World Bank.

HCMC PC, a member of Electricity of Vietnam, is seeking a qualified developer to supply and install plant and equipment for a 220 kV substation and underground cabling system by June 2003 as part of a transmission, distribution and reconstruction project.

Sealed bids for the Toa Dan 220kV GIS substation and the Nha Be-Tao Dan 220 kV transmission line project must be submitted by 8 January 2002 along with security amounts of $40 000 and 350 000 respectively.
