Alstom Power (Euronext: ALO) has been requested by Petrobras (NYSE: PBR) to renew a maintenance contract for seven years, aimed at servicing the Brazilian energy corporation’s gas power plant fleet

The contract entails maintenance of 11 gas turbines, four steam turbines and 14 generators installed in their 1040 MW Leonel Brizola (Termorio), 586 MW Fernando Gasparian (Piratininga) and 185 MW Celso Furtado (Termobahia) combined-cycle power plants.

The contract, worth around $115 million, comprises technical assistance services and parts for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the three power plants.
