Enap, Chile’s state-owned oil company, is confident in finding partners to carry out its coming projects. Among these plans is the negotiation to purchase the gas-fired Luz Minera power plant and the coal-fired Energía Minera from Codelco.

Chilean newspaper El Mercurio said that Energía Minera could be reconverted to a 760 MW gas-fired plant, as the government of Chile seeks.

Enap could also get a 77 MW cogeneration plant in the region of Concón.

Enap forecasts the investment of $4 million in projects from now to 2020.
