Dalkia to build and operate district energy system for Barcelona

The Barcelona City Hall, Enagás, the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) and the Catalan Energy Institute (ICAEN) are all partners in the operation.

Britain's Food and Environment Research Agency (Fera) in North Yorkshire is the host to a new, 230 kW CHP unit, operating under a 10-year discount energy purchase contract, from ENER-G. The company financed, installed, and now operates the CHP system at no cost to Fera and contracts the energy produced back to the customer at a discounted rate.
