New CHP development from Huaneng Power

Huaneng Power International Inc, the Chinese energy giant, has revealed plans to build two 300 MW cogeneration units at its Huaneng Yingkou Cogeneration Power Plant.

Total investment in the development will be around Yuan 3.3 billion (US$486 million) with the company providing a quarter of the capital, with banks stumping up the remainder.
