Italian chocolate maker chooses CHP

The Ferrero Chocolate manufacturing plant in Stadtallendorf in Germany is to be fitted with a generator set package from the UK-based Centrax Gas Turbines. The new CHP unit will provide both electricity and heating to the factory for the manufacturing process. Installation is scheduled for the middle of 2007.

California is to host two major new on-site solar power projects – one now completed at a juvenile detention facility, and one just starting to be built for a wastewater treatment plant.
