600 kW solar energy system supplies Estee Lauder

Designed and installed by DT Solar and owned by an investment partnership created by MMA Renewable Ventures, the new solar energy system incorporates more than 3000 solar panels installed atop a facility that houses manufacturing for Estee Lauder's Aramis Brand. The system is expected to generate over 650,000 kWh annually over an expected 25-year lifetime.

Finland's Wärtsilä Corporation is to supply a second biomass-fuelled CHP plant in the municipality of Amel in the Ardennes, the first 'sustainable industrial area' in the southern part of Belgium. The new plant will have a net electrical power output of 3.3 MW and a thermal output of up to 10 MW for district heating. The contract was awarded by Belgian independent power producer Renogen S.A.
