First fuel cell plant for silicon valley

Fujitsu expects the fuel cell unit to pay for itself in about three years because of the energy savings it will generate.

US-based FuelCell Energy, Inc. has sold a 1.0 MWe fuel cell-based power plant to operate on anaerobic digester gas from a sewage treatment facility serving the southern California city of Riverside.
