Irish utility ESB has awarded Foster Wheeler a contract to supply a 30 MWe bubbling bed boiler for the modernization of Ferbane power plant in County Offaly. Work on the modernization of Unit 4 at the Ferbane site is already underway and is scheduled for completion in late 2000.
