Kolin Insaat is to invest around $1bn in building a lignite coal power fired generation plant in Turkey’s Aegean region.
The construction company aims to complete the project by 2016, the company chairman have announced.
The plant will have a power generation capacity of 450 MW and the financing will be supplied through Turkish banks, board chairman Naci Kologlu told Reuters.
